Scope of this policy

This policy applies to the informational website of Spine and Orthopedic Specialists of Atlanta, PC. It explains this website’s operation. Medical records and the practice’s use of protected health information are addressed separately in its Notice of Privacy Practices.

Information you provide

This website does not provide a medical-record upload, patient messaging inbox, or a form that submits appointment details to the practice. Appointment links take you to Zocdoc. Information entered there is handled by Zocdoc and the receiving practice under their applicable privacy notices. Calling the office or sending a fax is a separate communication with the practice.

Technical information and service providers

Hosting and security providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and access or error logs. When site access requires sign-in, the hosting service also controls that authentication. Retention of platform logs and authentication information is governed by that provider’s policies and settings.

Cookies, analytics, and maps

The site code does not add advertising pixels, behavioral analytics, or browser-storage tracking. Fonts and practice images are served with the site. The embedded Google map loads only after you select “Load interactive map.” Loading it connects your browser to Google, which may receive technical information and use cookies under its policies.

Booking with Zocdoc also takes you to a separate service with its own cookies and privacy practices. Browser settings can control cookies, but some third-party features may not work without them.

Use, disclosure, and security

The site uses the information required to display pages and support access and security. The site code does not sell visitor information or share it for targeted advertising. Do not send medical records, insurance identifiers, Social Security numbers, or urgent concerns through unapproved channels. Internet transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices

You may read the site without loading the map or opening online booking. You can call the practice to arrange an appointment or ask about records, privacy, and alternative ways to communicate. For health-information access or correction requests, contact the practice rather than the website host.

Children and medical emergencies

This site provides general information and is not designed to collect information directly from children. A parent or legal guardian should coordinate a minor’s care with the office. For emergencies, call 911.
