Ask before care
Uninsured and self-pay patients generally have a right to a written Good Faith Estimate when requesting one or scheduling care at least three business days in advance.
- Care scheduled 3–9 business days ahead: generally receive the estimate within one business day of scheduling.
- Care scheduled 10 or more business days ahead: generally receive it within three business days.
- An estimate requested before scheduling: generally receive it within three business days of the request.
Understand what is included
An estimate describes expected charges; it is not a contract or a guarantee of the final bill. Ask each involved provider or facility for its estimate, including the surgeon and surgical facility. Separately scheduled or unexpected services may not be included. Keep a copy.
Call 404-913-7707 to request an estimate from this practice.

If a bill is substantially higher
If a provider or facility bills you at least $400 more than its estimate, you may qualify for the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process. You generally must start the process within 120 calendar days of the initial bill. Eligibility conditions apply.
